Landscapes from Dance Lab Project Macau

Dance perspectives is a performance exhibition that invites visitors to meet with curator of DLP Guo Rui, an audience/participant of DLP Neo Kou and the invited artists of DLP. During this exchange, Guo and Neo will share again practices from artists that were invited to past DLPs. From their respective perspectives as a curator on the one side and a participant on the other side, they will invite the visitor to experience different dance practices and reflect on their relevance in relation to Macao cultural context. Thereby putting into question a universal understanding of contemporaneity by asking how does dance as a contemporary phenomenon relates to social, cultural, and artistic current practices in Macao?
