Dance with me is a larp that explores support as a principle of work. The game is based on the fiction of a rehearsal and the fiction of a performance.
As a basis for the character creation each player presents a short dance (which can be more or less improvised). Through different scenes the group then explores how they can support each player's dance thereby generating togetherness as a place of communal resonance.
The larp is a mix between wordless movement scenes and verbal scenes with focus on discussing the dances and how to support each other.
This project was part of a bigger project called Choreographic Games during which a dance artist was paired with a Larp designer in order to develop new Larps.
