This artistic research examines the notion of harmony both in music and as a social construct. With the interest to look for cultural practices that subvert Western common understanding of harmony.

This artistic research takes the form of online Listening Sessions, where an artist, musician or ethnomusicologist is invited to share a playlist of music that relates to their own cultural background. During the sessions, the invitees provide context for the different musics in order to guide the listening.
