For the performance Speaking about the ghost we examined subversive participatory performances from the 20th century, which used participatory means to transform the role, position or experience of the spectator. We specifically focused on performances that were critical towards their social and cultural contexts.
Speaking about the ghost then calls onto the past. The performance is a journey through different stories about experiencing and taking part in past participatory performances from the perspective of the audience.
The texts tell the story of Schliegensief Ausländer Raus, Zoran Todorović Laughter, The Storming of the Winter Palace mass spectacle directed by Nikolai Evreinov, Marina Abramović Rhythm 0, Graciela Carnebale El Encierro, Collective Action Group Appearances, and Tiravanija Tomorrow is another Day.
